SDRAM - Cheapest RAM available in market

SDRAM is the cheapest RAM available in the electronics market till date. While the computer shall easily access data randomly and at continuous speed through the RAM, it also has another kind of memory which has the tendency to wait for a particular signal before it begins to move. The Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (SDRAM) is known to wait for a clock signal before it can begin processing the data on the system. SDRAM allows the system to pipeline, which means to accept new instructions even before accomplishing the previous task.
On comparing SDRAM to old RAM, we make the following observations, unlike old RAM chips, that allowed only one instruction to come at a time, the SDRAM has the capability to accept a lot even if that includes having the instructions to wait in line. Nevertheless, while the computer is able to pipeline, looking out for the clock rate first before responding can influence the speed by which data is being processed and transferred.  The latency in data processing has made SDRAM fall at the bottom of the line as a choice while selecting computer memory. Despite the latency of SDRAM, there are still some things good about this memory type. It is able to increase effective bandwidth due to its requirement to wait for the clock signal before it can move ahead.  This type of memory i.e. SDRAM is quite effective and is pretty much economical, thus it is still in demand.
